Sarah Gantz is a business reporter for The Baltimore Sun, where she writes about finance, utilities, technology and health care.

She specializes in the business of health care and stories that make the connection between complex health issues, the power brokers involved and the people affected most by their decisions — patients.

Prior to joining The Sun in 2016, Sarah wrote about health care and technology for the Baltimore Business Journal. At the business journal, she exposed exorbitant air ambulance bills, discredited a study that linked chocolate milk to concussion recovery among youth and chronicled the state's ongoing experiment to regulate hospital costs.

In 2014, she was a Reporting on Health Care Fellow with the Association of Health Care Journalists and the Commonwealth Fund.
