Prior to joining the Inquirer, Sarah was a business reporter for The Baltimore Sun. She previously wrote about the business of health care for the Baltimore Business Journal.

She is a 2019 recipient of the University of Southern California's National Fellowship and is currently working on a project about the rise of type 1 diabetes among very young children of color.
